blearily

My life is almost a shambles, but i am enjoying it. Mostly. Final stages of divorce, setting up a business, fitting in a boyfriend. He calls me his tiredy girl and we laugh each other to bed.

This is how i prefer my roast lamb; studded with anchovy, rosemary and garlic cloves, rubbed with anchovy oil and put on a rack in a hot oven.

Dyrham House, near Bath. One of my favourite outings on a sunday.

Hiya! What brand of anchovy do you use? I had mixed results when I tried it some years back, and haven't used it since. Garlic and rosemary every time, though. Mmmmm!

Rubbing with anchovy oil is a new thing to try, so I'll give that a go.

Down here the nettles are coming on nicely, so it'll be nettle soup this week. Wild garlic and scrambled goose eggs, too.

Drooling at the lamb!

Good to read that things are going well despite the near-shambles; perpetually tired here as well but also content.

I love the pool - one to sit and contemplate reflections.

CARNALIS ~ This is exactly how I love my Lamb... I have a Rosemary bush in my front garden, well it's more like a tree it's huge. Anyhow that lamb looks delish..Mmmm... as for the rest of your life..((((huggles)))

M - sainsbury's taste the difference, for day to day. Perfectly fine for pasta dishes.

WIld garlic and scrambled goose egg sounds wonderful, i'm quite jealous.

AAE - how come water is so regenerative?

Victoria - yes, isn't it :) He is lovely.

Indi - thank you :)
