taster

I have lost a cook book - it must be somewhere in the house, but i have had to give up looking for now; Tamsin Day Lewis' Kitchen Classics for the Rhubarb & Fresh Ginger Crumble Cake. I have all the photos which i took last week, but no recipe, so i can't post tonight. This will have to do - a glimpse of the cake, and my gingerbread biscotti.

I am preparing for a dinner party on friday night (duck and chorizo, but not in the same dish) and a date tomorrow. He has promised; no wet kisses, no lunges. I need to put my head right before the morning.

I love the new look of your blog as well as the look of your biscotti. I hope that you have a very pleasant time tomorrow.

I was going to say - let me know when you need help varnishing your new fence... :)

The biscotti looks lovely, as usual - would love to get a better look at the Rhubarb 'n Ginger!

Wanders in, looks round, nods appreciatively (as always)....

I reckon you'd get a much better finish if you rubbed it down first and then painted it, purple'd be nice perhaps...

Ducks and runs away....

Darn. I noticed a few days ago and thought I could do with a few planks myself. I feel shame for not complimenting them earlier.
