tunnel vision

A duo of lemon cakes.

After extensive consideration (yeh, yeh) i believe that the loaf style is preferable, because there is a better distribution of lemon syrup through each slice, which keeps the perfect sharp, moist density. I used this recipe and this recipe, but i prefer to use caster sugar for the syrup; dissolve completely in lemon juice (over low heat) and it will sink rapidly through the cake to leave only a delicate sweet sheen across the surface.

I have lost a couple of notebooks with scribbled notes of memories of torrid sex. I feel like i have misplaced a piece of him and I. These written snippets are all that remains, yet i have no recollection of where i left them.

What is the opposite of sexy? I feel defensive and inflexible, sensitive to touch and reluctant to speak. My skin pricks uncomfortably, my fingertips and lips become barriers rather than receivers. My cunt has become a foreign place, with all communication lost.

A week ago i remember i was bound and skewered, spoilt and stretched, basking in my slutification, yet now i'm not sure i would recognise that same woman.

First off...can you ship any of your baking goodiness to the States???

As for the other...accept for right now that you need time to heal, to deal, to get back on track. You'll never lose the sexiness. It just needs time to adjust.

I agree with the loaf form of Lemon Drizzle Cake - definitley a better spread of Lemon.

Your notebooks probably self-combusted as your descriptions - at least the ones posted here - have been so heated.

As usual, I find it so much more easy to write about cake than to offer words of comfort. You have had an intensity of sexual experience that will stay with you a long time, even without the notebooks. Perhaps what you are feeling at the moment is like a cool sorbet between rich courses. *HUGS*
